Springs Finally Coming!!

Today I woke up to the sun hitting me directly in the face, through my window. It has been awhile since I’ve seen or felt it. It’s just crazy how the first day of spring changes everyone’s attitudes and moods. Everyone seems to being coming out of the depression cave.  I love it!! The weather change brings back memories from the previous college days when you enjoy walking to class, and do not mind hearing the birds outside your window when you’re trying to study.

Well today the weather put me in the spring cleaning mode. I swept the whole apartment and mopped the bathroom. I opened up the windows to get some fresh air circulating and had some music playing. It was just a relaxing but refreshing day when you feel like you’ve actually did something with your day.

I believe the other reason I cleaned though was because I had some home work to do.  I just love it when you have a ton of homework to do, and instead of doing it you’d rather clean. Maybes it’s because I’m procrastinating, or just that I don’t like to study when I’m in a clustered and dirty environment.

Class Scheduling

This is my first official blog and ever blogging so bare with me if this is not the correct way to blog.  I am mostly going to talk about situations that I experience here in college.  I guess it will mostly be a diary of my college days, but not a day to day thing. I am going to try to tell you how I balance playing a college sport, school work, friends, a boyfriend, family and working. Most will be about my stressful experiences and my thoughts on them.

So starting this spring semester of classes I am only taking 13 credit hours. My Advisor talked me into taking only above the full student limit so I could work on gettin my GPA up, but now that I am half way through my semester I finding that I should have just gone with my instincts and taking more classes. I am stressing out about getting all my classes for graduation and then havong the right classes to get into grad school. I think I'll get all my classes in but it's going to be stressful trying to make them all fit in two semsters. But this has taught me that I can't rely on my advisor to know everything that I need to graduate and apply for future schools. I need to start getting use to doing everything on my own. It just sucks that some advisors dont really advise their advisees. They need to know a students future plans really well in order to really help them out in trying to graduate them on time.
